# About OpenEdu

OpenEdu is a Dutch company that builds and supports learning platforms on open source software. It works with Moodle, Mahara and BigBlueButton, adding authoring tools, analytics and integrations, and connects them to an Odoo-based learning experience platform.

Its customers run from primary and secondary schools to vocational training, higher education, non-profits in healthcare and government, and companies. The argument OpenEdu makes to them is one we recognise: an organisation can grow without becoming dependent on closed software or rising licence costs, and keeps control over its own platform.
