# Why I am a member of BeLibre

I am a member of BeLibre, and of Abelli, because I have always argued for more open and free science - including the tools it relies on: free and open source software and open content.

I made that case at the University of Liège, where I worked until my retirement in June 2024, and I keep making it on opensolution.be, which serves as both a blog and a training resource.
